Electrical design

Electrical design is an integral part of any project, the correct design will determine whether the electrical system is a success or not, IMED Ltd prides itself on working closely with the customer to guarantee that all avenues are looked into and all demands are met. 

IMED Ltd has designed purpose built software for load analysis. By providing a detailed load analysis, we can plot peak load times and accurately determine power generation sizing. By graphically showing load, the customer can visualise the necessity of certain electrical equipment. 

The next step is to provide a set of electrical drawings for the electrical department to work from, the drawings show all cable sizing and coding information, the information will then be updated so a set of as-built drawings can be provided to the customer for their records at the end of the project. We also have the ability to arrange the electrical drawings digitally in PDF format, the drawing references can be linked to each other and to manuals. This makes searching through drawings a thing of the past, one click of a reference number and the drawing will automatically be found and displayed.

IMED Ltd can then offer either SCADA or control and monitoring packages, using PLC and touch screen technology, the controls of your electrical system are literally at your fingertips!
