Lighting Dimmer 12-24VThe IMED Dimmer is a general purpose DC light dimming solution for a very wide range of lights. We have been using these for control of the status lights and backlighting on our helm stations, for interior lighting, signal lights and much more.
The Dimmer offers a smooth dimming curve, easy control with single/dual buttons, an auxiliary contact for automated status feedback and master/slave connectivity. One dimmer can control an unlimited number of slaves, enabling scalable dimming power exactly where it's needed. MULTI / RGB LED Dimmer 12-24VThe most recent addition to our product range, the IMED MULTI / RGB LED Dimmer offers the complete solution for helm station lighting. Its four channels automatically drive the status lights and the RGB backlighting LEDs.
Like the regular IMED Dimmer, it offers a smooth dimming curve, easy control using the "Dim" and "Colour" push-button inputs and is fully compatible with the IMED Lighting Dimmer in a Master/Slave configuration. The relationship between status lights and backlighting brightness is completely automated to offer single-button dimming capabilities. If maximum flexibility is required, we also offer the RGB Dimmer as a standalone version as a general-purpose RGB LED lighting solution. Load Control Module
The IMED Load control Module (LCM6) monitors electrical system load and turns consumers
on/off as required to prevent or minimise risk of overload. There are six load control outputs and two alarm/aux control outputs. With stand alone generators, Island power systems and ships, this load control system can maintain a better, more-even average load reducing generator issues like glazing and premature smoking. In some cases smaller generation plants can be utilised and sized closer to the average loading instead of peak. The main electrical system sends load information to the IME-LCM6, this input signal is compared to user determined pre-sets and will turn loads off in high demand situations and then reinstate these when power demand is low.

Pitch Angle Indicator
IMED’s Pitch Angle Indicator (PAI) is a propeller pitch angle display unit. The angle is displayed using high intensity LEDs for clear visibility in outdoor helm stations. The design is microcontroller-based which makes it long-term stable and easy to configure.
IMED’s PAI will work directly off most existing propeller pitch feedback units, basically any potentiometer from 1k to 100k. Alternatively, it reads 4-20mA signals (fully isolated, low loop burden) and works in a master-slave setup together with other PAI units. If needed, we can design custom interfaces, too. The LEDs can be dimmed for night-time usage by any 12V/24V PWM dimmer like e.g. the IMED Lighting Dimmer. It's also available in a standalone version with an enclosure for outdoor panel mounting and internally dimmed back-lighting. Rudder Angle IndicatorThe IMED Rudder Angle Indicator is the same unit as the IMED PAI, just with a horizontal scale for displaying rudder angle/order. It is very accurate and can measure angle differences smaller than 0.1 degrees.
It also collaborates with other RAI units in a master / slave system where only the master needs setting up once. The LEDs can be dimmed for night-time usage by any 24V PWM dimmer, like e.g. the IMED Lighting Dimmer. Setup is easy with simple buttons on the back for logging port, starboard and center rudder positions. It's also available in a standalone version with an enclosure for outdoor panel mounting and internally dimmed back-lighting. Signal ConditionerAnalogue measurements sometimes require signal conditioning. Be it that potentiometers are not used over their full scale or e.g. temperature sensors working in a subset of their full measuring capabilities.
The IMED Signal Conditioner solves these issues by introducing signal amplification and offset adjustment to the signal. Both can be set completely independently from each other as needed by using high-resolution trimming potentiometers.
