IMED replaced the control panels onboard S.Y Beagle in 2006. The instruction was to go for a lower profile with a modern look. Backlighting and labeling was also to be improved.
IMED designed and built the control panels based on technology used on previous vessels, with the modification of custom shortened handles on the engine and Danfoss truster controls a lower sleeker cover could be made.
We have recently viewed this vessel in Auckland, 2011, and the helms are still in excellent condition.
